What is Find and Replace?

Find and replace searches a text for a word or phrase and swaps it for something else. It saves you from fixing the same mistake again and again by hand.

What this tool does

Replaces every occurrence of the text you enter in Find with the text you enter in Replace. The search is for the exact text and is case-sensitive.

How to use it

  1. Paste your original text.
  2. Enter the word or phrase to find, and what to replace it with.
  3. Run the replacement and copy the result.

Did you know?

  • Because the search is case-sensitive, Cat and cat are treated as different words.
  • Special characters such as the dot and the question mark are searched for literally, so they are safe to use.
