What is Remove Line Breaks?

Text copied from PDFs, emails and web pages often has a line break at the end of every line. These breaks make the text hard to paste into forms and documents.

Removes the line breaks from your text. You can replace each break with a space, remove it completely, or keep the blank-line breaks between paragraphs.

Did you know?

  • Text from a PDF breaks at the end of each printed line, not at the end of each sentence.
  • Windows ends lines with two characters (CR LF), while Linux and macOS use one (LF); this tool handles both.
