What is Discount Calculator?
A discount calculator tells you the price you will pay after a percentage off, and how much you save. It is handy when shopping in a sale.
What this tool does
Takes the original price and the discount percentage and shows how much you save and the price after the discount. If you add a tax rate, it also shows the tax and the total to pay.
How to use it
- Enter the original price.
- Enter the discount percentage and, if you like, a tax rate.
- Read the savings and the price.
Did you know?
- Two discounts do not add up: 50% off followed by 20% off is 60% off in total, not 70%.
- The tax is added after the discount here, as it is in most shops.
