About cubic meters and cubic yards
A cubic meter (mยณ) is the SI unit of volume: the space inside a cube that is one meter on each side. It equals 1,000 liters.
A cubic yard (ydยณ) is a cube one yard on each side. It equals 27 cubic feet and is the usual unit for ordering concrete, soil and mulch.
