What is Capitalize Text?
Capitalizing means making a letter upper case. In text tools it usually means turning the first letter of a sentence or phrase into a capital.
What this tool does
Makes the first character of your text a capital letter and leaves every other character unchanged.
How to use it
- Type or paste your text into the box.
- Leave Auto ticked to see the result as you type, or press the Capitalize button.
- Copy the result.
Did you know?
- This tool changes only the very first letter. To capitalize every word, use the Title Case tool instead.
- Capital letters are also called upper case, a term that comes from the upper drawer of the type case that printers used to store capital letters.
