What is Fuel Economy Converter?
Different countries measure fuel economy in different ways. The US uses miles per gallon, Europe uses litres per 100 km and some countries use kilometres per litre.
Higher mpg is better, but a lower L/100 km is better, which makes comparing them confusing.
What this tool does
Takes one value in any of the four units and shows the equivalent in all four. A US gallon is smaller than a UK (imperial) gallon, so the two mpg figures are different.
